Short Break 2010

Day of Arrival
Leave the daily monotony and occupational stress behind and visit our hotel "Der ACHTERMANN" in the imperial town of Goslar at the foot of the Harz. We would like to welcome you with a beverage voucher for our bar and with a little present waiting for you on your room. In the evening, we will pamper you in our historic restaurant “Altdeutsche Stuben” with a delicious Harz-dinner which introduces you into the culinary treat of our region.

2nd Day
You will start the day with the traditional "Achtermann"-breakfast buffet before you will join a professionally-guided tour "1000 steps" through the magnificent Old Town of Goslar. Enjoy your free time in the afternoon. You could either relax in our spacious sauna and wellness area with five different saunas, jacuzzi and swimming pool or explore this wonderful region on your own. In the evening, we would like to surprise you with an "ACHTERMANN-Dinner".

End the day with a drink at our hotel bar or with a short walk at night through the illuminated alleyways of the picturesque Old Town of Goslar.

Day of Departure
Unfortunately, you will have to leave us today and we hope that you will arrive relaxed and recovered at home. Perhaps, you might also be able to use the opportunity to extend your visit in order to discover more sights such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Mines of Rammelsberg".

Day of Arrival
Hiking as a recreational activity has been rediscovered by young and old and enjoys great and increasing popularity. Where is a better place to go for a hike as in the natural region of Harz? Look forward to the discovery of picturesque mountain valleys, bold cliffs and rustling forests. For your first tour, a hiking map and selected recommendations of hiking trails are waiting for you on your room. In the evening, we would like to put you in the right mood for your hiking holidays with a 3-course dinner with specialities of the region.

2nd Day
Strengthen yourself copiously at our international breakfast buffet. An ACHTERMANN rucksack with a rich packed lunch is waiting to be taken from the reception desk. We hope you will enjoy your hiking tour to the full.

After these exhausting activities, feel free to relax and recover in our hotel-owned wellness area with five different saunas. In the evening, you can enjoy a walk through the illuminated alleyways of the Old Town of Goslar. Afterwards, we would like to invite you for a nightcap at our hotel bar.

Day of Departure
This short hiking-break is going over far to quick. Thus, you will have to pack your rucksack and travel back home after the breakfast. Maybe, you will still find the time to visit some sights in the old imperial town of Goslar or you might even be able to lengthen your stay a little and stay another night or two at your hotel "DER ACHTERMANN".
